Welcome to Vetico, the Free Veterinary Information Community for Pet Owners!!
Vetico is an online resource developed by Veterinarians and members of the Veterinary Health Industry, to provide current, reliable and relevant information for pet owners. Not only an information resource, the site has also been built to accommodate an interactive community of like-minded people, pet owners and members of the pet industry. In a nutshell, Vetico has been developed to be the one stop online resource for all things pet related!
The Vetico Team.
Vetico is managed by Dr Nick Wonders, an Australian Veterinarian with an interest in Small Animal Medicine and Dairy Medicine. Whilst working as a vet, Nick noticed that pet owners were increasingly relying upon the Internet for information on the health and wellbeing of their pets, but found that the info available to pet owners was consistently unreliable or simply incorrect. This suggested 2 things;
1. Pet owners are increasingly seeking more information about their pets,
striving to become better informed!
2. There isn't a reliable source of veterinary and pet information currently available
online for those owners seeking to be better informed about their pets!
So, the idea of Vetico sprung to life. An online resource to arm pet owners with a level of knowledge that would allow them to make better, informed decisions for their animals.
Dr Ben Willcocks is the other core member of the Vetico team. Ben has worked extensively in companion animal medicine, and has a strong interest in stem cell therapy and surgery. He has also worked as a large animal vet, and has an interest in education, having taught veterinary students at the University of Qld.

We hope you enjoy your Vetico Experience.
We hope you enjoy your Vetico experience, but always keep in mind the information provided on Vetico is intended to complement, not replace, the services and advice offered to you by your own Veterinarian. The site has been designed to better inform pet owners, so they get to the vet clinic and have their pets cared for as soon as possible. One of Vetico's key goals is to develop a more informed community, who better understand the health and wellbeing of their pets, and who are more likely to seek early and appropriate veterinary care.
